Pork rinds are one of the most keto friendly snacks you can find and the ideal ingredient to use for keto bread since they contain naturally ZERO carbs. In this dairy-free, gluten-free 2-ingredient bread recipe, you basically just need ground pork rinds and egg whites (I used duck egg whites). Spices and herbs are completely optional. The texture of this keto bread roll is soft, tender and spongy with a crunchy crust. They toast well and hold perfectly firm for patties, pulled beef/chicken/pork or simply spreading butter, (black garlic) mayonnaise and liver parfait. Ground pork rind can be used as a panko substitute too.

- Grind the pork rinds in your food processor until you get a crumb-like texture. Beat the egg whites until stiff and glossy.
- Add in ground pork rind, fresh thyme leaves and fermented black garlic granules. Gently fold into whipped egg whites until well blended.
- Wet your hands with some water and shape the mixture into 3 buns. Place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Bake the buns in the middle of hot oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.

That black garlic looks so freaky!
Por aqui siempre veo panes súper originales, nunca he probado las cortezas en forma de harina y ya me gustaría poder hacerlo, porque seguro que el sabor de este pan cuanto menos es interesante.
...I've never had pork rinds.
Interesting.
Black garlic looks wicked!
That. looks really good but it looks like four ingredients LOL!
Se ve muy rico. Gracias por la receta la haré pronto. Te mando un beso.
I have never had that bread before, but I would be willing to try seeing I like to eat garlic.
@Brian The herb and spice are completely optional. So you just need 2 ingredients for the bread.

I would have never thought of adding something like pork rinds to bread - inventive and special!
Never have such bread before. Pork rinds in bread?? Who have thought of that!!
woow mega apetyczne
This is interesting. I wonder how it tastes. I've never thought of or even heard of pork rinds in bread. But why not?
Wow, this is amazing!
The texture you described, with the soft and spongy interior and the crunchy crust, sounds mouthwatering. I can already imagine using these buns for patties or even as a base for pulled meats. And the idea of spreading butter, mayo, or liver parfait on top sounds absolutely divine.
Got small carton of egg white recently and mixed in tuna to make tuna egg white frittata bites. It's so interesting to see pork rinds added into egg whites to make keto bread.
