This savoury salmon tart is perfect for a light meal served with some bitter arugula salad and lemon wedges, to take to a picnic or as a lunch box filler. It transports well and can be enjoyed warm or cold. You can use ready-to-roll butter puff pastry in place of keto crust or shortcrust as the base for this quiche, though making your own pastry is far easier than you might think. If you use ready-made pastry, the tart can be ready in about 30 minutes.

Pamper your family and friends with these crispy pan seared salmon steaks drizzled with a simple homemade leek vinaigrette.
A salmon steak is cut into cross sections from whole fish and includes the bone, whereas a fillet is cut lengthwise from tail to collar and boneless. It is usually bone in while a fillet is boneless. Since a whole steak is cooked on the flesh sides only, so the skin will not become crispy. You can replace with salmon fillets for the recipe.

This is an elegant meal that is really easy to prepare. Scallops take only 3-4 minutes to cook until caramelized yet succulent. The trick to achieving that golden crust without overcooking the scallops is to heat your cast iron or stainless steel skillet over high heat for a few minutes until very hot and the scallops should be dry when they hit the pan. Pairing the plump, juicy and perfectly browned sea scallops with creamy butternut squash puree (parsnip puree would be fabulous too) that's roasted with garlic and thyme and brown butter hazelnuts is simply heavenly.

Feed your family with this no-fuss and delicious breakfast / brunch recipe with thin, unleavened lavash (a popular flatbread in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey), creamy herby goat cheese and lots of rich, buttery smoked salmon, briny, salty baby capers, nutrients-loaded red radish sprouts and peppery arugula. Smoked salmon is a great ingredient, especially when you’re short on time but still want a healthy and fresh meal. But other omega-3 rich fish would be just as good. If desired, add in a couple of soft boiled eggs. You can also cut this into small bite-sized pieces and serve them as an appetizers.

This fresh and light salad makes the perfectly light and delicious meal. The sweetness of the cantaloupe compliments the rest of the ingredients seamlessly. As quick and easy as it is delicious. You can use prawns or crab meat if you can't get hold of crayfish tails. Cantaloupe can be substituted with mango, apple or berry. If you want a more satiating meal, throw in some leftover cooked pasta, roasted potatoes or grains.

This easy carrot and salt & pepper cashews salad is a great mix of crunchy, zesty, tangy, and spicy. Perfect on its own or as a great addition to any barbecue. It is bursting with texture and flavour yet dead easy to prepare and super delicious and nutritious.
I used a mixture of white, deep red and purple heirloom carrots. If they aren't readily available, use regular orange carrots instead. You can either grate them or peel lengthwise into long ribbons for an even more appealing presentation. The fresh herby salsa verde really lifts the carrots to a new level.
