This tasty grilled radish recipe requires minimal ingredients: radishes, olive oil, dill, salt and pepper. Grilling radishes takes out the spicy and peppery flavour and gets them tender and sweet while leaving just a bit of refreshing crunch on the inside. Not only is it delicious and easy, it is also nutritious. Radishes are a great source of vitamin C, fiber and potassium. They make a perfect appetizer or you can serve them with some grilled chicken or your favourite protein for a satisfying meal.
- 2-3 bunch Radishes, trimmed
- 2-3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Dill, chopped
- Sea salt and freshly milled black pepper
|
- Skewer the radishes on skewers. If using wood, then soak in water for 30 minutes.
- Mix olive oil, chopped dill, sea salt and black pepper. Brush the radish skewers with the prepared olive oil.
- Heat your grill to medium-high heat or use a grill pan. Grill the radishes for about 3-4 minutes per side, brushing with more prepared olive oil as they cook. Season with additional black pepper and salt, if needed.

...Angie, this is something that would never have come to mind!
Very unusual, I have never cooked nor grilled radishes, but nice info that they turn sweet when cooking. We do not currently have them in the shops. I love to eat them in the spring as a salad with my breakfast oats omelette.
What a great idea for veggie skewers. I'm curious, do the radishes get soft when you grill them?
These look good. I love radishes :-D
Erika, they are slightly soft outside and still crunchy in the middle.
What a unique idea! We no longer have access to a grill, but will keep your idea in mind if we ever get invited to a barbecue

ottimo contorno, anche molto bello!
Very attractive and colourful.
I have pan roasted them before but never thought to put them on a skewer. What a pretty side dish.
