Making a Brussels sprouts salad doesn't actually require much preparation. You can use a food processor to chop the sprouts and grate the carrots, which will require just 5 minutes. The longer you let it chill in the fridge, the more tender the sprouts will be. Toss with tender carrot tops or other herbs (cilantro, parsley, spring onions are all good) and toasted nuts before serving.

- Place all the ingredients for the dressing in a bowl. Whisk everything together until well combined.
- Place Brussels sprouts, and grated carrots in a large bowl. Toss with dressing. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour. Stir in chopped carrot tops and chopped macadamia nuts just before serving.

...I've never been a Brussels sprouts fan.
I like Brussels Sprouts so that would be a winner for me!
I never had them raw, nice.
sounds delicious Angie
Suena genial sana y muy rica. Gracias por la receta, te mando un beso
Absolutely love Brussels sprouts - one of few vegetables to have their own 'real' taste but normally they have not been part of my salads . . . great to have a recipe to follow !
Lots of nice textures there with the Macadamia nuts, etc. That's a great idea using carrot tops (never done that before), but I think I'd like to first roast my Brussels Sprouts before putting them in the salad!
We both love brussels sprouts, and although we both also enjoy al dente vegetables, I think I might have to disguise them pretty well if I was serving them raw for hubbie! I imagine they taste a bit like raw cabbage though, so maybe not too much of an issue!
I would never have thought about adding the macadamias and the flavours in that dressing are to die for as well!
Another winning recipe! - Happy Monday :)
Es época de ensaladas. Así que eres muy bienvenida y oportuna.
Solo que debo sustituir algunos ingredientes. La macadamia no creo encontrarla aquí (igual consultaré). Podría sustituirla por pistachos?
Gracias Angie!!
Buena semana con ricos sabores y salud!!
Un'ottima insalata, mi piace molto!!!
I love macadamia nuts. Bet they tasted good in salad, sure give that different texture and flavour to it.
Absolutely love brussels sprout especially roast :D
I really like all the crunch in this salad.
I haven't tried Brussels sprouts in salad. I love macadamia nuts.
I did not know that sprouts can be eaten fresh, they give me tummyache even when cooked, but I used to love them in winter sooooo much in soups or roasted in the oven with potatoes. I do ever so miss those stinky little bastards.
I never thought of brussel sprouts in a salad. What a great idea!
💕
Sounds delish and healthy!
Happy Monday, Angie!
Refreshing and fresh salad, Angie.. yum!
I love Brussel sprout but never had them in a salad.
About my photo today, the umbrellas in the bin weren't mine. They were there when I walked pass the bin.
Yum! Brussels sprouts are SO good, and I love 'em in salads. This looks terrific -- loads of flavor. Loads. :-) Thanks!
Sembra molto buona!
Looks yum.
Burssels sprouts are my husband's favorite. What a hearty salad that can be the main course. I love the addition of the macadamia nuts. Perfect! :-) ~Valentina

Great flavors & textures in this hearty salad.
Delicious :)
I like to read you in english, a beautiful and healthy salad, bye.
Angie, If only I could eat greens. Love Brussels sprouts! With Afib, these, lettuce, broccoli and the like are all off the menu unless I partake regularly which isn't really practical...too much waste. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I love Brussels sprouts but have never eaten them raw in a salad. Interesting proposal.
All the best
I love Brussels sprouts and pairing them with carrots! I'd get all the sprouts and Bill would eat the carrots. Win-win!
P.S. I'm sorry you're still not getting proper notifications from my blog. Wish I was more techy and could figure it out...though it seems the RSS feed does not like to share updated posts. I wish I knew a way to block that feature.
I love brussels sprouts, and my husband isn't a fan, so I'm always looking for fun ways to "hide" them in recipes! lol.. - http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com

Brussels sprouts are one my favourite veggies when cooked well.
You know what? I have not had brussel sprouts raw but I am guessing thinly sliced/shaved, it will turn out great when raw.
I really enjoy Brussel sprouts, my wife not so much. Maybe this is a way to coax her to eat more of them.
Many thanks for sharing this recipe.
Brussels Sprouts are so good to eat.
All the best Jan
