Serve it over spaghetti or with wholewheat bread, this makes a simple, hearty and tasty meal. And prepared in a slow cooker, this recipe of chicken meatballs simmered in a tomato sauce couldn't be any easier!

- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 2/3 tsp Hot paprika powder
- ½ tsp Garlic salt
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Dried parsley
|
- 1 can Tomato, crushed
- 250 ml Tomato puree
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 1 tsp Chilli pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
|
- Combine all the meatball ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir until all ingredients are well blended. Form into 16 meatballs.
- Stir together the sauce ingredients in your slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 5-6 hours.

Really, these look delicious. Your photos are so good I can almost smell the aroma of these.
I am jus wondering how did you manage to shape them so perfectly, they all look perfectly round and same size! :)
These look so tasty! Love the idea of quark in them, they must be so light!
The one good thing about colder weather is that I'll be using my slow cooker more often. I'm bookmarking this lovely recipe for when that happens =)
That sauce is just waiting for a crusty loaf of bread to soak it up!
Delicious!I should use ground chicken more (slap hand!)My kids would eat these so fast!!
Sounds good. Looks good. Love that red bowl.

I love how this is chicken because I don't eat beef, so I always feel the pain of not being able to eat meatballs! I didn't even think to make them myself, how lame is that?! I love the serving bowl, that pattern is gorgeous. Another fantastic recipe!
Yes i can definitely picture them over a full plate of spaghetti! Delicious!
Wish i get those irresistible meat balls for my lunch rite now, cant ask more.
You´re right, they couldn´t be easier. I eat meatballs a lot but never chicken. They are gorgeous Angie!
Love all the magical things possible with slow cookers!
angie, this looks amazing. I love meatballs and don't like red meat so this is perfect x
I bet these are really tender and juicy. Thanks for a great dinner idea - and I think I'll serve it with spaghetti squash! Lovely clicks Angie - have a great week. P.S. Do you happen to have a favorite Irish Brown Soda Bread / Breakfast Bread recipe? savingdessert@aol.com
Angie , these chicken meatballs are just delish ! Either pasta or steamed rice with these yummy meatballs will be fine with me :D
Yay I love finding great slow cooker recipes! I have never made meatballs in it but now I really want to.
That does sound incredibly tasty for our nasty winter weather. I think I would prefer real garlic instead of garlic salt, but that's an easy substitution. The quark is not something I've seen in a meatball, but I suspect it makes the meatball very tender.
Look really yummy Angie!!I love meatballs!
looks so delicious. Have to have it with some rice, no wait, with some pasta :)
Yum! They look tender and delicious.

A chicken dish! Wasn't expecting this. What tasty little meatballs! I've always been a fan of just eating the meatballs like this with the sauce and omitting the pasta. It makes them the star. Great recipe!

the colors are amazing!
I love doing meals in my slow cooker - these meatballs look perfect, Angie. I've never had German Quark cheese - is it a hard cheese like parmesan?
@Priscilla | ShesCookin Priscilla, Quark is a fresh tangy cheese. The one I use contains only 0.2% fat.
These meatballs look wonderful! I have never had quark cheese…I’ll have to look for it!
Yummy. I am a meatball fanatic. These look amazing. I love that you used chicken.

Oh I love the idea of using my slow cooker to cook meatballs. It is genius, there is no need to use oil for frying and you know the little balls are going to have the perfect shape. Thanks for sharing, the weather is a little chili here at the moment so I may be using this recipe sooner rather than later!
Anything I can cook in a slow cooker makes me happy. A friend introduced me to Quark cheese a few years ago. I'd never heard of it. I have some ground turkey I can try this with.
I love this simple yet comforting dish. It'll be so delicious over a plate of pasta! Yum.
This is wonderful recipe, Angie, I learn so much from you....perfect meat balls....I simmer my meatballs in coconut milk minus the cheese.....totally love the rustic pics.

I've got a slow-cooker and I've got ground chicken. I've got my plan for dinner tonight!!!
YUM. I love love love meatballs...they're just so much fun! These look terrific, and a great reason to pull out the slow cooker! :)
That looks wonderful. I have not used my slow cooker much this winter, but I will pull it out for this. Just need to find the cheese that resembles the one in your recipe.
I only recently started making meatballs, believe it or not, & the recipe I've been using has ricotta cheese in it, which makes them extra moist. My kids are huge fans, so I'll have to try your recipe next to around-looks delicious!
